Or choose from fishing and water sports in the Clarence River or Lake Wooloweyah. Park the car and walk to the gift stores, boutiques, grocery stores or cafes, bars and restaurants in Yamba’s Main Street, less than 500m away, or take in a meal and entertainment at the Golf or Bowling Clubs. For those rainy or lazy days, you could catch at movie at Yamba Cinema which is also located just above the main street in Yamba. It is all so close. If you don’t feel like walking, there’s always the courtesy buses, which are run by both clubs, plus the Yamba Shores Tavern if you feel like a meal and a drink on the river.
Yamba’s largest shopping centre, Yamba Shopping Fair is located on the way into town on Yamba Road, approximately 4.5kms away, or 9 mins drive. Iluka is accessible by car, 45-50 mins, or take the ferry from the end of River St and cruise across to Iluka, and wander up Iluka’s main street towards cafes, gift stores, the Bowling Club, Sedgers Reef Hotel and the Fishermans Co-op.
